Kidstuff Online Retail
This work was delivered while members of our team were at We Are Digital between 2022 and 2024. It represents prior team experience rather than a direct New Site Agency engagement.
Background
Kidstuff operates in a fast-moving retail category where product discovery, seasonal campaigns and a dependable checkout experience are central to online performance. The storefront needed to support a broad catalogue while making it easy for parents, gift buyers and families to move from browsing to purchase.
The Brief
The ongoing programme focused on strengthening the Shopify Plus storefront rather than treating the website as a one-off launch. Priorities included improving how customers navigated the catalogue, supporting campaign and merchandising requirements, and making changes without compromising site stability.

- Reviewed key shopping journeys and identified areas of friction across navigation, product discovery and conversion.
- Supported Shopify Plus enhancements and maintenance as trading requirements changed.
- Refined merchandising and content presentation for seasonal and promotional activity.
- Worked with design, development and internal stakeholders to turn commercial priorities into practical releases.
- Considered performance, accessibility and responsive behaviour during ongoing improvements.
Delivery Approach
Work was planned around active retail operations. Changes were scoped, reviewed and released incrementally so that the team could improve the experience while protecting day-to-day trading. That approach also made it easier to learn from customer behaviour and prioritise the next highest-value improvement.
Outcome
The engagement gave Kidstuff a more structured way to evolve its online store and respond to changing campaign, catalogue and customer needs. Specific commercial figures are not published, so the value of the work is presented here through the responsibilities and capabilities delivered rather than unsupported performance claims.
