CabFare’s Digital Transformation Journey

Background
CabFare, a long-standing Australian taxi payments provider, was competing in a market dominated by legacy operators. Their outdated website and fragmented digital presence made it difficult to attract new drivers, promote referral programs, or highlight their modern EFTPOS and Tap to Pay solutions.
The brand needed a scalable, SEO-driven platform to support its national expansion, streamline product messaging, and better connect with both drivers and fleets.
The Challenge
Outdated Website: Legacy content and design failed to reflect CabFare’s position as a modern payments innovator.
Low Visibility: Weak search rankings meant drivers searching for “taxi EFTPOS machine Australia” often found competitors first.
Fragmented Messaging: Product details, referral programs, and state-specific information weren’t structured for easy navigation or conversion.
Compliance Requirements: As a regulated financial services provider, the site needed to handle strict disclosure, security, and compliance standards.

The Solution
Migration to Framer: New Site Agency rebuilt CabFare’s site on Framer, delivering a sleek, responsive design optimised for performance and SEO.
Structured Content: We introduced a robust site architecture with dedicated pages for Products, Solutions, State-specific landing pages, and a growing Glossary to build topical authority.
SEO Optimisation: Schema, internal linking, and keyword-targeted copywriting lifted rankings for high-intent terms such as “taxi EFTPOS terminal” and “rideshare Tap to Pay.”
Product Focus: Dedicated product pages (EFTPOS Terminal, Tap to Pay App, Connect API) now highlight features, benefits, and compliance details in a clear and accessible way.
Driver Referral Program: Landing pages and promo integrations were designed to scale CabFare’s $100 sign-up bonus offer and boost driver acquisition.
Paid Search & Conversion Tracking
We launched focused Google Ads campaigns around high-intent, exact-match searches used by taxi drivers and fleet operators actively comparing payment solutions. Campaigns were organised by product and audience so searches for taxi EFTPOS, Tap to Pay, terminals, and fleet payment technology led to the most relevant landing page rather than a generic homepage.
Conversion tracking was configured across the complete enquiry journey. Form submissions and key contact actions were recorded as Google Ads conversions, giving CabFare a clearer view of which keywords and landing pages were generating qualified interest. This made it possible to optimise budgets around meaningful enquiries and sign-up intent, not clicks alone.
